Nicki Minaj literally went green for charity last night (29.03.11), dying her hair to look like a bush.
The 'Roman's Revenge' rapper attended the 'Christie's Green Auction: A Bid To Save The Earth' event in New York with her hair sculpted to resemble a tall shrubbery and dyed half green, half white. She rounded off the look with a black leotard, tights and boots coupled with pink lipstick.
All proceeds from the event, held at the city's Rockefeller Center, will be used to benefit the second annual 'Bid to Save the Earth' collaboration aimed at protecting the future of the Earth.
The night also featured a green fashion show, debuting autumn 2011 creations and accessories by designers from across the world.
The event was hosted by Seth Meyers and other celebrities to appear included Ted Dansen, Diane Kruger, Jason Wu, Olivia Palermo and Vogue magazine editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
Nicki - who has recently released her debut album 'Pink Friday' - recently told how she still feels in a state of shock over her fame.
She said: ''Sometimes it feels like I'm on the outside looking in. I've grown up seeing what happens to the likes of Britney Spears, but I never imagined that one day that would happen to me. But people freakin' dream of this, it's not just supposed to happen and there is no guarantee that it will last. I'm trying to make sure it doesn't affect me in the wrong way. And I guess I'm in a state of shock, too.''
