Classified as a grass and not a tree, bamboo is fast-growing and has anti-bacterial properties that eliminate the need for pesticides.
Wear Chemistry also uses cotton, which is 100% certified organic as determined by the Global Textile Standard.
All fabrics are died in treatment ponds that allow for wastewater to be filtered back into clean water, and all fabrics meet the highest test standards via Oeko-Tex-Standard 100 Class 1 guidelines, which verify the safety of dyestuffs and textiles for environmental concerns and general human health.
