Colin Ricketts

Colin Ricketts's bio

Colin Ricketts is a freelance journalist based in Cardiff, Wales. A former newspaper reporter in the Forest of Dean, he's written for The Guardian, Big Issue Cymru and Private Eye and particularly enjoys writing about music, culture and green issues. He's the staff writer for a series of what's on guides in the Valleys.

In his time Colin has been a shop assistant, fruit picker, library assistant and business information officer - in his spare time he plays football, writes music and reads too much. He loves the Welsh countryside and that of his native Forest of Dean and believes that permaculture might just save the species.
